KFOR Hungarian contingent's Colonel Csongor Horváth has died suddenly this morning.
Csongor Horváth served as a soldier in the Hungarian Armed Forces for more than 26 years. He first served in Kosovo 22 years ago, then took part in the Afghanistan mission, and served as a staff officer at the Ground Command of the Allied Armed Forces in Spain for four years. He started his second mission in Kosovo in October 2021, where he died suddenly. His diligent and humble work was recognized by his superiors several times.
The Embassy of Hungary in Pristina offers it's deepest condolences and shares the grief of his family and friends.
